Job Description

Position Summary Bridge Point Business and Real Estate Advisors is seeking an experienced, licensed Florida Real Estate Broker to serve as Managing Broker. This leadership role is responsible for overall brokerage compliance, operational excellence, and the strategic growth of our residential real estate division while supporting the firm's established business brokerage and commercial advisory practices. The Managing Broker will lead the recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management of the residential team, ensure full regulatory compliance, maintain high professional standards, and contribute to firm-wide production and growth. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for a results-driven broker who thrives in a collaborative, high-integrity environment focused on client outcomes and team development. Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Serve as the firm's qualifying/managing broker and maintain full responsibility for regulatory compliance under Florida Statute Chapter 475 and all applicable
FREC / DBPR
rules.
  • Oversee all brokerage licensing, agent registrations, renewals, and required filings.
  • Ensure proper supervision of all licensed associates, including transaction review, contract compliance, disclosure adherence, and escrow/trust account procedures (where applicable).
  • Implement, maintain, and enforce written policies and procedures covering fair housing, advertising, agency relationships, dual agency, transaction management, and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and training refreshers; promptly address and remediate any deficiencies.
  • Maintain and manage Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance requirements and claims coordination as needed.
  • Stay current on all Florida real estate laws, NAR Code of Ethics (if applicable), local board rules, and industry best practices; disseminate updates to the team.
  • Residential Team Building & Leadership
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of residential real estate agents and support staff.
  • Develop and execute a clear growth plan to build a productive, professional residential team aligned with Bridge Point's culture and standards.
  • Set production goals, performance expectations, and accountability frameworks for residential agents.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that integrates seamlessly with the firm's business brokerage and commercial practices.
  • Identify and develop future team leaders and high-potential agents.
  • Training, Mentoring & Professional Development
  • Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training programs for the residential team covering:
  • Florida real estate law and compliance
  • Transaction management and best practices
  • Listing presentation, buyer representation, negotiation, and closing processes
  • Marketing, lead generation, and technology tools
  • Bridge Point's systems, branding, and service standards
  • Provide regular one-on-one coaching, deal strategy support, and performance feedback.
  • Organize team meetings, role-playing sessions, and continuing education opportunities.
  • Mentor agents on professional conduct, client service excellence, and ethical practice.
  • Operations & Production Support
  • Oversee day-to-day residential operations, including transaction coordination workflows, marketing support, and technology platforms.
  • Support agents with complex transactions, problem resolution, and client escalation as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of client service and brand reputation across all residential activities.
  • Collaborate with ownership on firm-wide strategy, marketing initiatives, and business development.
  • Contribute personal production (listings, buyer representation, or referral business) consistent with the firm's compensation plan.
  • Assist with cross-referral opportunities between residential, commercial, and business brokerage divisions.
  • Additional Duties
  • Represent Bridge Point at industry events, local board activities, and professional networks as appropriate.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and residential market conditions in the Tampa Bay / Hernando / surrounding areas and advise ownership accordingly.
  • Support valuation, due diligence, and transaction processes when residential real estate intersects with business sales.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the firm's overall success and growth. Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active Florida Real Estate Broker license in good standing (required).
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive real estate experience, with preferred experience in team leadership, brokerage management, or high-volume residential production.
  • Strong working knowledge of Florida real estate law, FREC rules, contract forms, and compliance best practices.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, and retain productive agents.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, professional demeanor, and commitment to ethical practice.
  • Proficiency with standard real estate technology (MLS, CRM, transaction management platforms, Microsoft Office / Google Workspace).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-specialty brokerage environment (business brokerage + residential + commercial).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred:
Prior experience as a managing or qualifying broker; business brokerage or commercial real estate exposure; local Tampa Bay market knowledge.
Pay:
$50,000.00
