A growing Metro East, Illinois Title Insurance Company is accepting resumes for an Escrow Closing Position . We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic who enjoys working in a professional, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to successfully manage multiple tasks. Banking experience is a plus. An Escrow Closer will conduct closings, receive and disburse funds, prepare and review documents, and ensure the accuracy of all closing and recording documents. Candidates should have experience performing the following duties: Accurately prepare Closing Statements, ALTA Settlement Statements, and Closing Disclosures Prepare out-of-state closing packages for buyers and sellers Make deposits and send wires for proceeds and mortgage payoffs Answer questions regarding closing documents Read and understand Title Commitments Clear title issues Prepare and review closing documents prior to closing Balance files for Closing Statements Ensure documents are accurate and ready for recording Providing a high level of customer service and attention to detail is essential, along with strong communication skills, dependability, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
