Legal Assistant / Real Estate Closing Coordinator LoMonaco Law | Vernon Hills, IL | Full-Time | In-Person $22-$28/hour (depending on experience) Join a Growing Law Firm Where You'll Learn Real Skills LoMonaco Law is a growing law firm in Vernon Hills, concentrating in residential and commercial real estate, estate planning, and business law. We believe in providing exceptional client service while creating a supportive, collaborative workplace where every team member plays an important role. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow a career in the legal field. While prior legal experience is helpful, we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, enjoys learning, and takes pride in staying organized. This is not a position where you'll simply answer phones all day. You'll become an integral part of our real estate closing team and gain hands-on experience with real estate transactions, client communications, and law office operations. What You'll Do Prepare routine legal documents and closing packages Open and organize new client files Order mortgage payoff statements, final water bills, HOA documents, and other closing-related items Coordinate closing schedules with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and title companies Track transaction deadlines and follow up on outstanding items Answer client calls and emails professionally Assist attorneys and paralegals with day-to-day file management Help keep the office organized and running efficiently Provide general administrative support to the legal team We're Looking For Someone Who Is Exceptionally organized Detail-oriented Friendly and professional Comfortable juggling multiple priorities A strong written and verbal communicator Self-motivated and dependable Eager to learn and grow Previous law firm, title company, mortgage, banking, or administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
