Job Description

It's a great time to start a career as a residential leasing agent! On behalf of Gardenside Terrace Cooperative, Kirkpatrick Management Company is seeking a new team member to assist in all stages of apartment leasing. Knowledge Section 8 Experience preferred but not required. Customer and Personal Service
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. English Language
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Clerical
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Psychology

  • Greet visitors, schedule appointments for prospective members Provide initial applications to prospective members with the goal of scheduling an application interview.
Maintain records of work orders, confidential member files, application logs and wait lists in accordance with Fair Housing and HUD guidelines Handle incoming calls Process incoming and outgoing mail Initiating credit and criminal reports Initiate Existing tenant searches on household members Communicate by telephone and in writing of acceptance or denial of applications in accordance with Company, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Fair Housing Policies Initiate the development of advertising and marketing plan for community, presents to management for implementation while seeking new outlets and venues for broader market outreach Ensure the office, business center, clubhouse, laundry facility, models, and target apartments are in perfect condition Clean, vacuum and dust as needed Physically inspect property on grounds and pick up litter and report any service needed to maintenance as needed Other
