Job Description

Overview Come join the Omega Management Group Team for this exciting opportunity. We are looking to add a Leasing Agent with our team. To lease apartments while maintaining a strong customer service/satisfaction philosophy. To work with and assist the Residential Manager in the general administration of the property and perform related leasing, operational, administrative, and bookkeeping functions. Courteous and helpful behavior to residents and potential residents is essential. Knowledge, Abilities and Other Qualities The ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that May occasionally call for minor deviations. The ability to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions The capability to work at a fast pace and with multiple tasks, perform duties while under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner, interact/communicate with other site employees, residents, visitors, and the public in a professional and pleasant manner Legible penmanship and accurate typing skills The ability to correctly deal with lease documents, fill out paperwork, and keep accurate records The ability to work with figures and make bank deposits The ability to compute rental amounts, prorates, discounts, percentages, and basic math computations The capability to operate fax/copy machine, vacuum, telephone, typewriter, calculator, and to be computer literate or willing to be trained Must have good customer service skills and be able to resolve resident, prospect, and vendor problems E xperience Training and Education High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Prior apartment leasing and/or sales experience preferred Must have a valid state driver's license and valid auto liability insurance. Must have reliable transportation Must have a phone where you can be reached Omega Management Group emphasizes a team approach and fully expects every person to perform any reasonable task or request that is consistent with fulfilling company objectives.
