Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal/Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of real estate transactions, legal research, and case management activities within a fast-paced law office environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, legal administrative experience, and a proactive attitude to assist with complex legal matters related to property law, land use, and real estate development. This paid position is perfect for someone eager to grow their legal career while contributing to impactful projects and client success. Responsibilities Assist attorneys with drafting, reviewing, and managing real estate documents including contracts, deeds, leases, and title reports. Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis. Manage document review processes and ensure accurate filing within document management systems like iManage or PCLaw. Support project management efforts by coordinating deadlines, tracking case progress, and maintaining organized files for multiple real estate transactions. Perform data entry, proofreading, transcription, and clerical tasks to ensure precision in all legal documentation. Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, or stakeholders as needed to gather pertinent information for cases involving estate planning, landlord-tenant law, or securities law. Maintain excellent communication with clients and internal teams through professional phone etiquette and organizational skills. Qualifications Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of real estate law and related legal areas such as estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, family law, securities law, immigration law, or litigation. Proficiency in legal research platforms including LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with document management systems like iManage or PCLaw is highly desirable. Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents and proofread meticulously. Strong organizational skills with experience in data entry, filing systems, and document review processes. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Effective interviewing skills combined with professional phone etiquette to interact confidently with clients and stakeholders. Knowledge of legal administrative practices including calendaring deadlines and managing case files in a law office setting.
