Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a leasing agent who provides excellent customer service to current and prospective residents while supporting the leasing team with administrative, marketing, and office operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in property management, sales, and client relations within a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants promptly and professionally, providing detailed information about available units, amenities, and community features. Conduct property tours, highlighting key features and answering questions to facilitate leasing decisions. Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately using property management tools. Verify applicant information through background checks, credit reports, and rental history to ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Maintain organized records of leasing activities, client communication, contracts, and legal documentation in accordance with property management standards. Collaborate with team members to coordinate property maintenance requests and ensure tenant satisfaction. Upsell additional services or amenities when appropriate to enhance resident retention and maximize revenue opportunities. Qualifications Proven experience in property leasing, real estate administration, or related customer service roles; property management company experience is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities. Skilled in data entry, filing, budgeting, and using Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced office environment while maintaining attention to detail. Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment
Key Duties:
Respond to leasing emails, phone calls, and online inquiries within 24 hours Enter and manage leads, applicants, and resident communications. Schedule property showings and provide community tours Greet office visitors and assist residents and prospective tenants Support move-in/move-out processes and annual unit turnover Maintain organized records and assist with lease documentation and fee collection Help monitor property appearance and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.
