This position supports our estate sale operations. We are looking for a reliable, friendly Sales Associate to join our team for on-site sale days and behind-the-scenes preparation work. About the Role Sales take place in clients' homes within approximately 30 miles of Cambridge, MA. You'll be a key part of making each sale run smoothly from helping stage and organize items in the weeks leading up to a sale, to working the floor on sale days to assist customers and process transactions. Responsibilities Serve as a friendly, helpful presence on sale days by greeting customers, answering questions, and creating a welcoming experience Process customer purchases accurately, including handling cash transactions and making change Circulate throughout the sale to assist shoppers and support loss prevention Help stage and merchandise items prior to sales following our established procedures Catalogue and photograph inventory as needed Assist with pricing as directed Schedule & Hours Sale days are Fridays and Saturdays, typically 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Preparation work (staging, cataloguing, photography) takes place Monday-Friday with some flexibility on timing Hours range from 15-20 per week during active sale periods; hours are not guaranteed between projects Reliable availability on Fridays and Saturdays during sales is required What We're Looking For Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in clients' private homes Friendly and professional customer service skills Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license (travel within ~30 miles of Cambridge, MA required) Must have valid US work authorization. Employment sponsorship not available. Basic comfort with technology An eye for presentation and organization Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds An interest in antiques, vintage items, or secondhand goods is a plus This role is well-suited for someone seeking flexible, part-time work that fits around other commitments as supplemental income. Hours are concentrated around sale weekends, with some weekday flexibility during prep weeks.

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
