We are looking for an experienced Title Post-Closer to join our team. We are looking for someone who understands that a successful real estate transaction does not end at the closing table. The ideal candidate can confidently manage the post-closing process, identify and resolve issues, meet critical deadlines, and follow files through final completion. This position is ideal for an experienced title professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable and comfortable taking ownership of their work. You must be able to manage multiple files simultaneously, communicate effectively with transaction parties, and work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Key Responsibilities As our Title Post-Closer, your responsibilities will include:

• Review executed closing packages for accuracy, completeness, proper signatures and notarizations, and compliance with lender and closing instructions.
• Identify and promptly resolve missing, incomplete or improperly executed documents.
• Submit funding documents and closing packages to lenders and follow through to obtain funding authorization.
• Prepare and process disbursements through to completion.
• Prepare recording packages (deeds, deeds of trust, and other recordable instruments), submit and monitor recordings throughout Maryland and D.C., and confirm recording information and fees are accurate...
• Monitor recordings through completion; promptly resolve rejections, deficiencies and other recording issues, obtain, verify, and maintain recorded documents, and keep accurate post-closing tracking logs.
• Prepare and issue final title insurance policies, as applicable.
• Follow up on outstanding releases, payoffs, documents and other post-settlement matters through to resolution.
• Conduct final file reviews to confirm post-closing requirements are complete and files are properly documented and maintained in organized electronic records.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with lenders, clients, real estate agents, underwriters, recording offices and other transaction parties.
• Assist with other title and settlement responsibilities as needed. Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of post-closing experience with a title or settlement company.
• Hands-on experience with MD & DC post-closing and recording procedures.
• Knowledge of executed closing documents, lender packages, deeds, deeds of trust and other recordable instruments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.
• Professional, dependable, courteous, client-service oriented and equally effective working independently or as part of a team.
• Current Title Producer License and Notary within the State of Maryland (or willing to obtain both within 4 months of employment)
• High school diploma or equivalent. Compensation $50,000-$65,000 per year Compensation will be commensurate with title-industry experience, Maryland/DC post-closing experience, licensing, software knowledge and overall qualifications. Benefits
