We are a privately owned, local property management company in the Lansing area looking for a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Assistant Leasing Agent to help support our leasing operations. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and being part of a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit for you.
Position Details:
Status:
Full Time (32 hours per week)
Pay:
$16.50 - $17.25 per hour (based on experience)
Additional Compensation:
Bonus opportunities available
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with leasing activities including showing apartments and responding to inquiries Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective residents Help process applications, lease paperwork, and resident files Answer phones, emails, and office communications in a professional manner Maintain organized records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date Support the leasing team with marketing efforts and follow-ups Assist with resident retention and renewal processes
Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills Organized and detail-oriented Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills (email, data entry, property management software a plus) Previous leasing or customer service experience preferred but not required
