Full-Time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Recording Clerk / Specialist to join our team in Troy, Michigan . This role is responsible for submitting recordable real estate documents to county recording offices nationwide, ensuring all filings are completed accurately and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have direct experience recording documents through Simplifile and county recording offices and must be familiar with the requirements and processes associated with recording real estate documents across multiple jurisdictions. This is an in-office position located in Troy, MI . Key Responsibilities Submit recordable real estate documents to counties for recording Process recordings through Simplifile (e-recording platform) Coordinate with county recording offices nationwide when physical recordings are required Ensure documents meet county recording requirements before submission Track recording status and confirm documents are successfully recorded Address and resolve recording rejections or issues from county offices Maintain accurate file documentation and recording confirmations Work closely with post-closing and title teams to ensure timely recordings
Qualifications Required:
Experience recording real estate documents using Simplifile Experience submitting documents to county recording offices nationwide Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines Familiarity with real estate closing or title company processes preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Compensation & Benefits Pay based on experience Health insurance provided Paid Time Off (PTO) Additional benefits available Work Environment On-site position located in Troy, MI Collaborative team environment within a growing title operation
