Job Description

We are seeking a Real Estate Legal Assistant to join an established, full-service law firm. This position is responsible for coordinating real estate transactions from file opening through closing while providing exceptional service to clients and supporting attorneys with additional legal matters as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced legal environment where managing multiple deadlines and maintaining accuracy are essential. Responsibilities Manage active real estate closing files from origination through closing. Prepare loan documentation using Quilo, Landtech, and other legal software. Coordinate with borrowers, lenders, title companies, appraisers, real estate agents, attorneys, and other parties throughout the closing process. Schedule closings and communicate timelines with all parties involved. Review files to ensure all required documentation is complete prior to closing. Prepare settlement packages and post-closing documentation. Maintain organized electronic and physical case files. Update the firm's case management system with accurate file information. Respond professionally to client and third-party inquiries. Provide legal and administrative support for litigation and other firm matters as directed. Requirements Associates degree or paralegal certificate preferred. 2+ years of experience as a real estate legal assistant, legal secretary, or closing coordinator preferred. Experience coordinating residential and/or commercial real estate closings preferred. Experience using Quilo, Landtech, or similar real estate closing software preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Professional demeanor and commitment to client service. Compensation $55,000, with higher compensation available based on experience. Comprehensive benefits package.
