Ashford Place Apartment Homes is seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing Leasing Consultant to join our team. In this role, you'll be the first impression of our community, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process while delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming experience from the moment they walk through our doors. What You'll Do Welcome prospective residents and provide personalized community tours. Showcase apartment homes, amenities, and community features with enthusiasm. Promote available apartment homes through advertising, social media, outreach, and marketing initiatives. Answer phone, email, and internet inquiries promptly and professionally. Follow up with prospects to build relationships and convert leads into new residents. Process rental applications, verify references, and assist with resident approvals. Prepare lease agreements and explain lease terms. Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts. Conduct daily inspections of the community, model apartments, and rent-ready units. Maintain an organized, professional leasing office and ensure models are always show-ready. Complete market surveys and stay informed about local market conditions. Work closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to provide an exceptional resident experience. A confident communicator with excellent customer service skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Sales-minded with the ability to build rapport and close leases. Professional, dependable, and team-oriented. Qualifications Previous apartment leasing experience preferred. Proven sales and customer service experience. Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing regulations preferred. Strong presentation, marketing, and negotiation skills. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Yardi and CRM software is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver's license required.
