In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, customer service, and administrative procedures will ensure a seamless experience for applicants while maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring the "model" apartments and target apartments are ready for show. Responsible for maintaining work areas and office in a clean, orderly manner. Maintain and have an awareness of the "curb appeal" of the property. Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and all community policies Knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques Knowledgeable of current market conditions Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations, and all amenities of property Responsible for "shopping" competitive properties Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes and policies Responsible to conduct out-reach marketing at least once per week Develop and maintain on-going resident retention program under direction of Community Manager and Assistant manager Responsible for proper filing of resident information Maintain and process the maintenance work order logbook. (Assistant manager/Leasing consultant) Courteous, efficient handling of resident requests and complaints Responsible for always maintaining a professional appearance and attitude Responsible for seeking educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development Requirements Strong customer service skills combined with effective conflict management and negotiation abilities. Excellent office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and administrative support tasks. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with legal contracts, lease agreements, and facilities management principles is highly desirable.
