Description

Union Pacific is one of America's premier transportation and logistics companies, linking 23 states in the western two-thirds of the country and serving many of the fastest-growing U.S. cities. Generations of Americans have built successful careers at Union Pacific and in the process, they have helped build a nation - delivering lumber for our homes, food for our tables, energy for our power plants and the countless raw materials and finished goods that supply the American way of life. The Real Estate Internship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a Fortune 150 company while continuing their education. Interns work on projects similar to those assigned to entry-level analysts, including data analysis, customer support, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Opportunities are available in Contracts, Facilities, and Field Operations, with placement based on education, skills, and interests. The Real Estate team within the Finance Department is seeking students enrolled in a degree program who are interested in working year-round. Interns are expected to work 15-25 hours per week during the school year and full-time during the summer. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, develop an understanding of real estate operations, and manage assignments from start to finish. Knowledge of basic real estate concepts and processes is preferred. The estimated wage for this position is between $21-$25 per hour. Final rate of pay will be based on several factors including year of study, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
