• Position Summary:

• We are seeking a dedicated and professional Leasing Consultant with experience in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for helping individuals and families find their ideal living space. This role is integral to maintaining the highest occupancy rates and ensuring resident satisfaction.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Greet prospective residents and conduct property tours to showcase available apartments.
• Responsible for understanding and effectively communicating LIHTC requirements to potential residents.
• Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify income to ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations.
• Prepare leases and ensure all documents are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of the local housing market and communicate this information to prospective tenants.
• Address tenant queries and resolve any issues that may arise during the leasing process.
• Collaborate with property management staff to ensure smooth property operations and resident satisfaction.
• Assist with marketing efforts, including online postings and community outreach, to attract qualified applicants.
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and company policies at all times.

• Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Leasing Consultant, particularly in LIHTC properties, is highly desired.
• Strong understanding of LIHTC program guidelines and requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in a related field preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred
