Property Maintenance Technician Redway Property ManagementAlbany, NY | Full-Time | W-2 Earn $25-$27/hour + Benefits + Growth Opportunities Join one of the Capital Region's fastest-growing property management companies. We manage a growing portfolio of residential properties and are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality work, enjoys solving problems, and wants a long-term career—not just another job. You'll work on a variety of residential properties throughout the Capital Region. Every day brings something different, from apartment turnovers and renovations to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventative maintenance. We value professionalism, accountability, and doing the job right the first time. Compensation & Benefits $25-$27 per hour (based on experience) Full-time (32-40 hours per week) Overtime opportunities available Weekly payroll $250/month health stipend after 90 days Paid Time Off accrued based on hours worked (up to 40 hours annually) Company uniforms provided Weekly gas stipend based on hours worked Stable, year-round employment Opportunities for advancement as the company grows Responsibilities Complete maintenance work orders efficiently Perform apartment turnovers Drywall repair, painting, and finish work Basic plumbing and electrical repairs Install fixtures, hardware, appliances, and locks Exterior maintenance and seasonal property upkeep Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and the office Maintain accurate job notes and photos Help ensure every property is clean, safe, and well maintained Qualifications Experience in residential maintenance, remodeling, or construction Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge Comfortable using hand and power tools Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable personal transportation Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors and outdoors What Success Looks Like After 90 Days Independently completing work orders Delivering high-quality apartment turnovers Receiving positive feedback from tenants and the office Taking ownership of assigned tasks Producing quality work with minimal callbacks Representing Redway Property Management professionally every day Grow With Us We're building something long-term.
