• Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Transfer Agent to join our Property Management firm that manages 90+ cooperatives, condominiums and HOA's.

In this vital role, you will manage residential cooperative real estate transactions from contract execution through conducting closing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Duties Review cooperative contracts ensuring accuracy for Cooperative name, shares, maintenance and other areas of importance; Requesting and reviewing amendments to contracts of sale; Review transactional applications; Communicate daily with sellers, buyers, lenders, attorneys and agents; Review UCC, judgment and lien searches; Review of Power of Attorneys for completeness and preparing full force affidavits; Review incoming documents pertaining to a sale or transfer and updating and noting file accordingly; Review maintenance account ledgers, at times working with property managers and cooperative counsel to ensure all fees are properly posted to account prior to closing; Clearing files to close, prepare file for closing, reviewing documents and fees with parties attorneys prior to closing; Attend and conduct the cooperative closing as the transfer agent, ensuring all cooperative documents are completed, signed and properly notarized; Post close file ensuring the Proprietary Lease is in good order with all supporting documents attached and noting file for turn over in management software program; Experience Required

• Two years experience working within the residential cooperative closing field Required
• Have conducted closings Required
• Notary License Detailed oriented Multi-tasker Works well under pressure Strong written and verbal communication Experience within property management a plus Experience with Yardi Voyager a plus but not required

Pay:

$60,000.00
