We are currently hiring for Temporary Leasing Specialist in Rochester, NY. Immediate Opening!! Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM $18/hr We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Temporary Leasing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with housing program regulations, managing lease renewals and certifications, and overseeing move-ins and move-outs. You will also play a key role in minimizing vacancy rates by efficiently leasing apartments and achieving occupancy goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administering compliance for housing programs, including lease renewals, recertification's, interims, and move-ins/move-outs.
- Preparing and submitting weekly vacancy reports.
- Providing support and back-up for the Community Manager.
- Collecting rents and managing delinquent accounts in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinating all marketing efforts for vacant units, including social media postings.
- Promoting positive relationships with residents and the public. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of prior apartment leasing experience.
- Experience with Low Income Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accurate data entry skills.
- Familiarity with Yardi Voyager software or other housing software programs is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with residents, prospects, visitors, regulatory representatives, and team members.
- Strong written and oral communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A High School diploma/GED equivalent is required; some college is a plus.
- Bi-lingual Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
Pay:
