Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Leasing Consultant and become the key to creating welcoming, vibrant communities! In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property management, customer service, and legal compliance will ensure a seamless experience for applicants and owners alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while making a tangible difference in residents' lives. Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants warmly and conduct property tours that highlight community features and amenities. Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Utilize property management software such as AppFolio to input data, track leads, and maintain detailed records of interactions. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and other legal requirements during all leasing activities. Process applications efficiently, including background checks, credit reports, and legal administrative tasks related to leases and contracts. Maintain excellent customer relationships through effective phone etiquette, conflict management, and personalized service. Keep organized files of leasing documents, contracts, and correspondence while managing data entry tasks accurately. Support administrative functions such as filing, phone communication, and facilities management to ensure smooth daily operations. Qualifications Active NYS Real Estate Salesperson License — required at time of hire 1+ year of leasing, sales, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to build rapport quickly Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AppFolio property management software Availability to work weekends and flexible hours as business needs require Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
