  • Part-time, Full-time We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our growing Trusts & Estates and Elder Law practice in White Plains, New York.
This position is ideal for a recent law school graduate or attorney with up to two years of experience who is interested in developing a sophisticated practice focused on estate planning, Medicaid planning, and elder law. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced attorneys and will have significant client contact and opportunities for professional growth. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives. Participate in Medicaid planning and Medicaid application matters. Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, correspondence, and court filings. Attend client meetings and participate in consultations. Communicate with clients, financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals. Support attorneys in developing and implementing estate and asset protection strategies. Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school. Admission to the New York State Bar, or pending admission with an anticipated admission date. 0-2 years of legal experience. Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Interest in Trusts & Estates, Elder Law, and Medicaid Planning. Preferred Qualifications Coursework, internships, clerkships, or prior experience in Trusts & Estates, Elder Law, Surrogate's Court practice, or related areas. Familiarity with estate planning documents and probate procedures. Experience working directly with clients. What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
