Job Description

Leasing Consultant:
Larken Associates is looking for someone who is inquisitive, energetic, hard-working, highly motivated and committed to providing superior customer service. As a Leasing Consultant, you will work closely with our property management team to provide exceptional service to residents and prospects. Each day will be unique, requiring an ability to prioritize, multitask, think creatively, take initiative, and employ a diverse set of skills. You will listen carefully to discover prospective residents' needs, confidently recommend solutions, overcome concerns, and earn commitment by guiding new residents through the leasing process. Leasing Consultants bring positive energy to each conversation, resolve any apartment issues quickly and effectively, and make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Basic responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1. Conduct follow ups and turn inquiries into appointments 2. Establish rapport with prospects, tour apartments and adhere to thorough follow-up procedures 3. Lease and pre-lease apartments by selling the product 4. Complete applications and lease/renewal documents 5. Review vacancies, walk tour path and maintain any model apartments 6. Keeping a high level of customer service in dealing with prospects and residents, including helping resolve any potential tenant conflicts 7. Participate in community events 8. Inspect models and available units to ensure they are presentable and market ready by pre-established dates 9. Overseeing the apartment grounds and keeping Property Manager apprised of any issues 10. Perform additional duties as assigned by Property Manager, Regional Manager and/or Asset Manager such as posting notices 11. Work with maintenance technicians to schedule service requests. Enter maintenance data and maintain work order ticket status Ideal Candidates will have: 1. 1-2 years in leasing 2. Strong customer service background and skills 3. Excellent verbal and written communication, including clerical and grammatical skills 4. Yardi experience 5. MS Office 6. Reliable transportation 7. Clean criminal background 8. A positive, upbeat attitude
