Job Description

Job Overview A well-established Pittsburgh law firm is seeking an attorney to join its Estate & Trust Litigation; Estate Planning and Administration practice group . This opportunity is suited to an attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience , ideally with exposure to estate, trust, probate, or fiduciary litigation matters .
Primary responsibilities will include:
Drafting substantive pleadings, motions, briefs, petitions, objections, and correspondence for contested estate and trust matters Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda relating to probate, fiduciary, trust, guardianship, and Orphans' Court issues Managing discovery, including interrogatories, subpoenas, document requests, and requests for admissions Representing clients in Orphans' Court proceedings, hearings, mediations, depositions, and related court appearances Assisting with all phases of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, witness preparation, and trial preparation Handling disputes involving wills, trusts, fiduciary administration, guardianships, beneficiary disputes, undue influence, and accounting actions Communicating with clients, fiduciaries, financial professionals, opposing counsel, and beneficiaries regarding case strategy and developments Assisting with settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution efforts The ideal candidate will have: 3-5 years of substantive litigation experience Strong experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, and court appearances Experience with Orphans' Court litigation preferred Familiarity with estate and trust administration preferred Excellent analytical, writing, research, and advocacy skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail The ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively within a team environment This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and highly regarded practice , offering sophisticated estate and trust litigation work alongside strong professional development opportunities.
INDATT Pay:
$120,133.45 - $150,483.29 per year
