Schatz Insurance is looking for a driven, competitive, and relationship-focused salesperson to join our team as a Commercial Insurance Sales Producer. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong sales mindset, athletic background, military background, competitive personality, or business development experience who wants to build a long-term career in commercial insurance. Prior insurance experience is not required . We are willing to train the right person. Our agency helps small and mid-sized businesses protect what they've built through commercial property and casualty insurance, including general liability, workers' compensation, commercial auto, property, contractors insurance, business owner policies, and other business insurance solutions. What You'll Do As a Commercial Insurance Producer, your main responsibility will be to develop new business relationships and grow a book of commercial insurance clients.
Responsibilities include:
Prospecting and developing relationships with local business owners Calling, emailing, networking, and setting appointments with prospective clients Meeting with business owners to learn about their operations, risks, and insurance needs Working with the agency team to prepare quotes and coverage recommendations Presenting insurance proposals to prospects and clients Building referral relationships with centers of influence such as bankers, attorneys, CPAs, payroll companies, real estate professionals, contractors, and local business groups Maintaining consistent follow-up with prospects and clients Learning commercial insurance products, carrier appetite, underwriting basics, and coverage options Working toward building a long-term book of business with renewal income potential Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is competitive, motivated, coachable, and willing to put in the work required to succeed in business-to-business sales. A strong candidate may have experience in: Athletics or competitive team environments Outside sales or business development B2B sales Customer service with sales goals Coaching, leadership, or team-building roles Military service Payroll, staffing, logistics, banking, real estate, equipment sales, uniform sales, copier sales, or other relationship-based sales roles Insurance experience is a plus, but it is not required .

This position offers strong long-term income potential for someone who can build and maintain a book of commercial insurance clients.
