Job Description

Overview This position starts onsite at our Fishers, IN headquarters. Opportunity for hybrid schedule following initial training period (6 months minimum). FORUM Credit Union is looking for a dynamic Indirect Lending Specialist to play a vital role in our operations. The Indirect Lending Specialist is responsible for promptly processing credit applications from all indirect channels, completing audit sheets before funding contracts, and funding within 24 hours if the contract is enforceable. Responsibilities What you'll do: Review and verify sales contracts for accuracy, documentation, and compliance, ensuring they meet dealer audit procedures before funding. Fund approved contracts within 24 hours by determining enforceability, setting the correct LOS, and offsetting the appropriate general ledger account. Investigate potential straw purchases and report any suspicious dealer activity through the auditing process. Work closely with the Indirect Lending Manager and dealership personnel to address documentation questions or changes before funding. Maintain and update the vendor management system regularly to ensure current and accurate information. Assist in meeting or exceeding monthly established sales and service goals, contributing positively to the team's success.
