Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Leasing Agent & Administrative Assistant to join our vibrant property management team. In this dual role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and current tenants, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing leasing operations. Your administrative expertise will support daily office functions, ensuring smooth property operations and compliance with housing regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine sales, legal administrative skills, and property management knowledge in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Duties Greet prospective tenants, conduct property tours, and promote available units through upselling techniques to maximize occupancy rates Manage lease applications, verify applicant information, and process lease agreements accurately using Yardi or OneSite property management software Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Landlord-Tenant law, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8, and other relevant housing programs Handle tenant inquiries via phone and email with professional etiquette, providing prompt resolutions and fostering positive relationships Maintain detailed records of leasing activities, legal documents, contracts, and tenant files through organized filing systems and data entry in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Assist with rent collection, payment processing, and resolving tenant disputes using conflict management skills Support property maintenance coordination by communicating with vendors and tracking service requests within facilities management systems Requirements Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Familiarity with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software for data entry and record keeping Knowledge of LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing vouchers, and legal administrative procedures related to affordable housing is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle conflict effectively Strong organizational skills for filing, data entry, and maintaining accurate records of contracts and lease documentation Office experience supporting administrative functions such as filing, document preparation, and office equipment management (CMMS preferred) Ability to negotiate lease terms confidently while upselling available units or amenities to prospective tenants Basic understanding of facilities management principles related to property maintenance and tenant safety Join us in creating welcoming communities by delivering outstanding service while supporting efficient property operations.
