Job Description
Overview Province Mortgage Associates has an exciting opportunity for a local mortgage professional to work with some of the area's top mortgage professionals. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, ensuring they submit all documentation needed to secure financing that meets their needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, a solid understanding of loan origination processes, and the ability to work effectively with Encompass and other mortgage centric technology. Responsibilities Evaluate and analyze loan applications to determine what documentation is required. Develop knowledge of company products, policies, procedures, and underwriting requirements. Guide clients through the loan origination process, explaining terms and conditions clearly. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and loan documentation. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Understand how to read real estate appraisals, title reports, and credit reports. Create and publish social media content while managing their mortgage advisor's CRM platform. Qualifications Proven experience as a Loan Officer Assistant or in a similar role within the financial services industry. Strong knowledge of loan origination processes. Excellent sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in evaluating financial documents. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of what documentation is needed from them.
