Job Description

Real Estate Assistant Portland, ME 04102 Hybrid work $21
  • $26 an hour
  • Full-time $21
  • $26 an hour
  • Full-time Job Overview We are a very small real estate team, located in Portland.
We are looking for an admin who is highly detail oriented, and is looking for a position they can grow in. This is a role that can pay substantially more over time for a person who engages in helping the team grow, and providing A+ service to our clients. Cons. 1. You will be our first full time admin. The first part of your job will be to help us transition from our current virtual assistant and transaction coordinator. This means you will help us re build some of our early systems. It also means I am not yet skilled at being a boss. You will need to be able to advocate for yourself, and be open to honest discussions to help us arrive at a great working situation. 2. This is not a corporate role that you can get lost in. Both the agents, and our clients will count on your help to keep things in line. 3. Things can vary a lot from day to day. There will be many days without any urgent work to be done, so you will need to be self motivated to work on still important, but much less urgent tasks. 4. There are times when things will need to be done outside of 9-5 working hours. This is not common, but it will happen. Pros 1. Very flexible schedule, once you have learned the job. Need to pick up someone from school? No problem. Snowing and you want to spend the afternoon skiing? No problem. Really nice day out, and you want to work from the beach? Sounds great. 2. Opportunity for growth. We are working towards becoming one of the top teams in Maine, and need admin support to do that. As you help us grow, pay will be able to increase as well. Qualifications Previous experience in administration or real estate is strongly preferred, but we can train for the right candidate Must be very organized. We have deadlines that must be met, contracts that must be exact, and tasks that we can not have the ball dropped on. Strong work ethic. This is non negotiable. We are not looking just for someone to move files and set deadlines on cruise control. We are looking for someone who wants to be apart of a growing business, and make themselves apart of our team. A non extensive, but hopefully useful, list of tasks that you will handle. Response to client emails with questions about properties or transactions. Posting across social media Creating calendar invites for agents and clients Drafting contracts and docusign packets Writing cards, and sending out mail Driving to town halls, to get more information on properties Scheduling many appointments, from inspections to contractors Managing email inboxes Managing tasks in our CRM If this sounds like something you are interested in, please apply! We look forward to hearing from you.
