Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Wilmington, DE office for a Real Estate associate. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of commercial real estate transactional experience and an interest in working across the full lifecycle of real estate assets—from acquisition and financing through structuring joint ventures, construction, leasing, title, and disposition. Experience supporting developers, owners, and real estate private equity funds is a plus.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Delaware.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent academic record and strong writing skills required. Experience handling a broad range of real estate transactional matters, including purchase/sale transactions, leasing, financing, closing documents, title review, due diligence, and development documentation. Familiarity with transactions involving diverse asset classes—such as hospitality, multifamily, office, retail, industrial, healthcare, self‑storage, or renewable energy properties—is strongly preferred. Experience advising clients at various stages of the real estate asset lifecycle or assisting with real estate private equity fund matters (e.g., fund formation, mezzanine or equity investments, acquisitions, or dispositions) is a plus. Experience in sophisticated real estate transactions preferred; land use experience helpful but not required. Environmental experience is a plus. Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated initiative, eagerness to learn, and a long‑term interest in contributing to the growth of the practice.
