Job Description

Job Opportunity:
Mortgage Processing/Closing & Servicing Specialist Rodeo Lending is an industry-leading mortgage loan originating company specializing in business-purpose residential and commercial real estate bridge loans. We offer alternative financing for those requiring quick closings, cash-out options, and flexible terms across various property types, including medical facilities and multifamily units. We are seeking an experienced professional for a dual-capacity role that combines critical pre-closing audit functions with comprehensive post-closing loan servicing. Role Overview As a Mortgage Processing/Closing & Servicing Specialist , you will oversee loan servicing operations to ensure accurate management of account portfolios as well as coordinate Real Estate loan closings and procedures during origination. This on-site role requires a detail-oriented individual to manage borrower communications, process payments, and ensure full compliance with lending regulations.
Key Responsibilities Financial Management:
Perform payment processing and the tracing and entering of fund advances.
Document Auditing for loan closings:
Loan processing, review loan documents, title insurance, HUD/loan closing statements, recordings, and disbursements to ensure the highest level of accuracy and compliance with state and federal guidelines while managing coordination with Escrow or Attorney Closing Agents.
Escrow & Expense Tracking:
Maintain oversight of hazard insurance and property taxes while tracking all relevant invoices for loan files.
Borrower Relations:
Manage collection emails and phone calls to borrowers and guarantors, resolving inquiries effectively.
System Integration:
Board new and transferred loans into the company's servicing software and handle the imaging and organization of loan files.
Compliance:
Perform high-volume data entry and ensure adherence to FDCPA and CFPB regulations.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Loan Servicer or loan processor.
Technical Proficiency:
Working knowledge of Excel and Word, basic math skills, and familiarity with loan systems.
Document Expertise:
Proven ability to read and interpret foundational loan documents, including the Note, Deed, and Mortgage .
Regulatory Knowledge:
Deep understanding of federal, state, and local collection laws.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Soft Skills:
Strong critical thinking, professional auditing skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with co-workers and borrowers.
Employment Details Pay Range:
Salary commensurate with experience

Full-time, 8-hour shifts (Monday - Friday).

On-site in Los Angeles, CA (Remote work is not available).
