Job Description

Function as the center budget manager with full financial operations responsibilities, including managing institutional petty cash, handling requests for printing, and vendor services. Order, stock, fill institutional requests and account for all expendable supplies. Process, route, and follow up on all purchase requests (SCDC form 13-1 order and account for all communication instruments and equipment, including inmate tablets. Responsible for job functions related to the labor crew and work release business associate: maintain and process all inmates' new hires, including job setup, weekly deductions, payroll, and job terminations. Process and track all authorized deductions from inmate accounts as required by law and SCDC policy, including child support, victim restitution, and medical expenses. Performs all other assigned duties. Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC basic training upon hire.
