In this vital role, you will be the face of our community, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, managing rental agreements, and ensuring an exceptional living experience for all. Your expertise in property management tools and legal administrative procedures will be key to maintaining compliance and operational excellence. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to combine sales acumen with administrative precision in a vibrant, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Greet prospective residents with enthusiasm, providing comprehensive tours and detailed information about available units and community amenities Manage lease or rental agreement processes accurately using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite Conduct thorough background checks, including Section 8 and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) program requirements, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and legal standards Handle client communication professionally via phone, email, and in person to answer questions, upsell available units, and facilitate lease signings Maintain organized records of leasing activities, contracts, and legal documents through efficient data entry and filing systems Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate maintenance requests, unit turnovers, and facilities management tasks Resolve conflicts effectively by applying conflict management skills and adhering to landlord-tenant law principles while fostering positive resident relations Requirements Proven experience in property management or leasing roles, with familiarity using property management tools such as Yardi or OneSite Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative procedures related to leasing Experience working with government-assisted housing programs like Section 8 or LIHTC is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills combined with effective negotiation capabilities to upsell units and close lease agreements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining professionalism in office settings and on the phone Demonstrated conflict management skills to handle resident concerns tactfully and resolve issues promptly Team management experience is a plus for those involved in supervising leasing staff or coordinating with maintenance teams Join us in creating welcoming communities where residents feel valued!
