Job Description

Affordable property is seeking a Full-Time Leasing Consultant to help to market and lease apartments for our affordable property to prospective residents. You will also be responsible for providing resident services in a professional and courteous manner. Skills/ Common Tasks Maintain an excellent customer service relationship with residents and vendors Greet prospective residents. Show model, market ready units and common areas Lease apartments and sell the amenities, products and services of the property to prospects Process applications for tax credit apartments Respond to internet leads, answer prospect calls and conduct property tours Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios and work to achieve and exceed budgeted occupancy percentages Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and competition Collect deposit and/or fees associated with move-in Inspect units on a quarterly basis as well as prior to move-in Assist with planning and hosting of resident events Assist residents with the move-out process Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Minimum 1 year experience working in sales, leasing or affordable property management required. Bilingual preferred Ability/ willingness to work Saturdays required. In this position you will be helping your team to achieve occupancy and income goals by cultivating superior relationships, maintaining property expectations, and offering great customer service. Who you are:
You have a minimum of 1 year of property management experience. You have the ability to create a welcoming and friendly environment. You foster a sense of inclusivity among all people. You have exceptional interpersonal skills and able to provide great customer service. You can quickly adjust and are open to learning new processes. You possess great organizational and time management abilities. You are proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You do not fold under time constraints and pressure. Extra bonus if you are familiar with Realpage Onesite.
What You'll Be Doing:
Answering phone calls and emails calls from tenants and vendors on a daily basis. Assist with touring available apartments when needed. Management of supplies. Coordinating and sharing community and property events. Updating and maintaining current daily and emergency resident contact lists and information. To maintain good working relationships and customer satisfaction, you will ensure work orders and repair requests are completed in a timely manner and maintenance workers dispatched as needed. Lease Agreement Management. Assisting with promoting, building, and maintaining strong resident relationships. Assisting with other responsibilities as needed
