Responsibilities Greet prospective tenants warmly, providing comprehensive tours of available units and community amenities to highlight key features and benefits. Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through application approval, including data entry into property management systems such as AppFolio, OneSite & Bluemoon. Verify applicant information, including income documentation, credit reports, and rental history, ensuring compliance with Section 8, Fair Housing regulations, and other legal requirements. Negotiate lease terms, prepare contracts, and explain lease agreements clearly while addressing tenant questions with professionalism and confidence. Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, applicant files, and correspondence through organized filing systems and data management tools with property management software. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to coordinate move-ins/move-outs and ensure units are ready for new residents. Uphold excellent customer service standards by managing conflicts effectively, resolving tenant concerns promptly, and fostering positive relationships that encourage upselling of additional services or amenities. Requirements Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. Strong knowledge of AppFolio, OneSite, or similar property management software; experience with Section 8 housing is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in sales techniques, negotiation skills, and contract management to maximize occupancy rates while ensuring compliance. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette; capable of managing conflict situations with tact and diplomacy. Office experience involving data entry, filing, customer relationship management , and administrative support functions such as legal documentation and facilities management. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
