Job Description
Position Summary The Power Systems Rental Coordinator is responsible for coordinating equipment rentals, including diesel powered generators, industrial air compressors, electric air compressors, HVAC equipment, water-cooled chillers, and industrial air dryers working directly with customers, prospects, service and operations manager in addition to assigned sales representatives. Knowledge of the equipment industry is essential for this position. The Power Systems Rental Coordinator must be able to perform independently with limited supervision. The ability to manage multiple priorities is essential for this position. The Power Systems Rental Coordinator will display a positive attitude, demonstrate initiative, resilience, attention to detail, sense of urgency, commitment to teamwork, enthusiasm for customer service, and dedication to finding solutions in an efficient manner. Essential Responsibilities & Expectations Receives incoming calls and records detailed customer information Organizes workspace for easy access to product information and rental rates Completes rental reservations and rental contracts Documents all missed rental opportunities Closes rental contracts and created invoices daily Works with equipment sales representatives to ensure customer satisfaction Follows up on overdue rentals and past due invoices Understands common equipment failure causes and resolves problems Negotiates mutually agreeable settlements on customer complaints Perform periodic equipment and inventory audits Maintain equipment records Qualifications Education High school diploma or the equivalent required
Experience:
Entry Level with 0-2 years' experience. Candidates must possess the ability to quickly acquire the following required skills and competencies: Skills and Competencies Relationship building skills Problem resolution High mechanical aptitude Excellent written communication Professional email etiquette Advanced computing skills Proficiency in Excel Job Training TTCo and supplier computer programs OSHA and MSHA required training Compliance training Safety Summary Working Conditions Work is normally performed in company office, worksite, or shop environment. Exposure to physical risk and all-weather conditions is associated with this position. Sitting for extended periods of time and standing on hard surfaces for extended periods of time is often required.
