POSITION
This Rental Coordinator will work directly with customers via telephone and e-mail to provide equipment information and availability, process rental contracts and arrange transportation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Follow established processes and procedures in day-to-day job functionality. Provide sales support for outside sales team and collaborate to establish new business within the markets. Assist in managing customer relationships. Facilitate rental process from start to finish. Manage contracts including creating, obtaining signatures, and billing. Understand and facilitate the transportation of equipment. Track and monitor utilization and location of equipment. Follow up and communicate with the sales team on equipment availability. Work with the service department to coordinate repairs for equipment when required. Create, maintain, and receive purchase orders. Manage payable invoice system for rental department related expenses; input required information/research/update/correct any discrepancies. Review purchase order reports weekly to maintain prompt processing. Any and all other duties assigned. DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position demands occupation in an office environment that regularly uses standard office equipment requiring the ability to communicate in person and over the telephone with other employees, the ability to interpret printed materials and a computer screen, the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, the ability to lift and carry supplies and files weighing up to 15 pounds and to move about the inside of the office to access supplies, office machinery, etc. Employee might be exposed to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, virus or other air-borne pathogens, gases, uneven surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines and dust/debris.
EXPECTED POSITION HOURS
This is a full-time position. Occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand with prior approval.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and Work Experience A high school diploma or GED is required. Two (2) years of experience in heavy dirt industry and transportation preferred; or a mix of education and on-the-job training may be a substitute for years of experience. RentalMan experience preferred. Rental experience preferred. Required Skills and Abilities Conscientious, diligent, and detail-oriented with ability to stay organized. Excellent verbal and written communication, attention to detail, interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to quickly react to changes. Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision Team player with excellent people skills. Committed to providing an elevated customer experience. Ability to use and manage multiple online computer applications/systems with technical proficiency Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point). Certifications, Licenses, and other Requirements Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
