Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient rental counter service Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicles, coverages, and upgrades Process reservations, rental agreements, returns, and payments accurately in the system Explain rental terms, insurance options, and company policies clearly to customers Upsell additional products such as GPS, fuel plans, and protection packages to meet sales targets Inspect vehicles for damage, mileage, and fuel levels at check-out and return Coordinate with operations and lot staff to ensure vehicle availability and readiness Resolve basic customer issues and escalate complex concerns when needed Maintain accurate records, paperwork, and digital documentation Follow all safety, security, and compliance procedures in a fast-paced environment Required Skills Customer service Retail or counter sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Reservation and rental software Cash handling and reconciliation Vehicle inspection Product upselling Conflict resolution Data entry and documentation Knowledge of rental/insurance terms
