Job Description

Position Summary As a Rental Coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while ensuring our rental operations run efficiently. This position combines customer service, equipment coordination, team leadership, and problem-solving. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping operations organized and running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering rental inquiries in person and over the phone. Help customers identify the right equipment for their needs and confidently recommend rental solutions.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the rental department, including scheduling equipment deliveries, pickups, repairs, and maintaining accurate records and computer documentation.
  • Monitor equipment availability and condition. Schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs with the service department, perform minor in-house repairs when appropriate, and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and ready for rental.
  • Assist with or coordinate daily equipment deliveries and pickups to ensure customers receive equipment on time.
  • Check equipment in and out, review operating and safety instructions with customers, and professionally address any damage or maintenance concerns.
  • Perform minor equipment repairs and assist with deliveries as needed.
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of our equipment, industry best practices, and customer applications to better serve our customers.
  • Work closely with the sales team to prepare new equipment, support demonstrations, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional rental office, shop, and yard. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who:
  • Takes initiative and works independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Has excellent customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Is organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Has experience with construction equipment or a strong understanding of equipment operation and capabilities.
  • Can lead by example, motivate others, and work effectively with coworkers across departments.
  • Is comfortable using computers and business software to manage schedules, records, and customer information.
  • Presents a professional appearance and represents the company in a positive manner.
  • Is willing to assist wherever needed, including equipment deliveries and minor repairs
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
