JOB DUTIES

Answer the phones and make reservations Learn our point of sale program Explain proper operation and safety features of equipment to the renter and user Analyze the condition of the equipment for safety and operational purposes Clean equipment before it goes into the shop, after it comes back from rental, and while it is in the yard Assist in loading and unloading equipment Make deliveries as needed Keep the equipment yard and showroom organized Perform general maintenance of the equipment yard and showroom (i.e., snow removal, sweeping) Perform other duties as requested Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate procedures are followed Generating quotes/prices on the computer Learning our equipment inventory and its function Opportunity for growth within the company

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work will be mixed between indoors and outdoors Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time Saturdays required

EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift/move approximately 50-70 lbs. Attention to detail Equipment rental industry experience is preferred Mechanical skills a plus Customer service aptitude
