Job Description
Bike Rental Associate
- Cargo & Family Bikes Queens Bike Share is hiring a dependable and customer-friendly Bike Rental Associate to help facilitate cargo and family bike rentals throughout NYC. This role involves coordinating bookings, communicating with customers, preparing bikes for rentals, and assisting with basic bike maintenance and logistics. Responsibilities
- Coordinate cargo and family bike bookings
- Communicate with customers via email, text, and phone
- Schedule and coordinate bike pickup and drop-off
- Assist with inventory management and bike organization
- Charge and maintain e-bike batteries
- Prepare bikes for delivery and rental use
- Inspect bikes before and after rentals
- Perform minor bike adjustments and basic maintenance
- Replace inner tubes and assist with simple repairs when needed
- Help maintain a clean and organized workspace Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with bikes and basic tools
- Ability to lift and move bikes as needed
- Prior bike shop or delivery experience is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with NYC streets and biking culture is a plus Compensation
- Hourly $18 or per booking basis
