Our Murray and Downtown locations are looking for a motivated team member to help customers with their vehicle rental needs while assisting with the day-to-day activity of the branch. This role offers a mix of customer interaction, sales, computer work, and vehicle-related responsibilities. If you enjoy meeting different people, solving problems, and staying productive throughout the day, this position offers a good opportunity to build customer service and sales experience in a fast-moving environment. Your Day-to-Day Help guests get checked in and on the road by handling rental agreements, reservations, extensions, exchanges, and returns. Discuss customers' travel or transportation needs and suggest vehicles that make sense for their situation. Introduce customers to optional protection products, upgrades, and other services. Process credit card and other payment transactions while ensuring rental paperwork is complete. Review vehicles as they leave and return to the location and record relevant vehicle information or damage. Coordinate with coworkers to track fleet availability and prepare vehicles for upcoming rentals. Use company software to enter rental details and keep customer records current. Provide assistance to business clients, repeat renters, and customers using rental vehicles through insurance programs. Pitch in with general branch tasks and help keep the location presentable. Take on additional duties as needed to support the team and maintain an efficient operation. Background in sales, retail, hospitality, customer support, automotive services, banking, or a related field is helpful. Able to communicate clearly and interact comfortably with a wide range of customers. Capable of balancing customer requests, paperwork, computer tasks, and other responsibilities. Uses good judgment when addressing customer questions or concerns. Reliable and willing to take initiative without needing constant direction. Works well with coworkers and contributes to a positive team environment.
Requirements:
Flexible schedule with weekend availability. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States. A current, valid driver's license and satisfactory driving history are required. Candidates may have no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents during the last three years. Candidates must successfully complete the company's required background screening and drug test before employment.
