Job Description
Job Summary As a Budtender, you will be the friendly, knowledgeable face of our cannabis retail team, guiding customers through their purchasing experience with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your role is to provide exceptional customer service, educate clients about our products, and ensure a safe, compliant environment. You will assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, demonstrate product features when appropriate, and handle transactions accurately and efficiently. Your energy and expertise will help create a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel confident and valued. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience Educate customers about different cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Conduct product demonstrations and explain usage instructions clearly and responsibly Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment to keep the sales floor well-stocked Uphold all safety regulations and compliance standards related to cannabis sales and store operations Use strong communication skills to answer customer questions via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy Assist in upselling products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction Support supervisory staff with daily store operations as needed, including supervising team members during shifts Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures Supervising experience in retail or hospitality environments is highly desirable Ability to conduct engaging product demos and educate customers effectively Bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally Strong upselling skills combined with merchandising expertise to promote products effectively Experience with stocking shelves, inventory management, and retail math calculations Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial for understanding retail environments Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Basic math skills for cash register operations and sales calculations Effective communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members Join us as a Budtender if you're passionate about delivering outstanding service in a dynamic retail setting!
