Job Description
Thank you for your interest in working at Holo Haven!! We're currently hiring staff members for both working in our retail store and running tournaments upstairs. The position entails - Working with customers to help them find the products and cards they are looking for, and then checking them out Running tournaments, involving setting up brackets, reporting scores, mediating rulings, and directing the flow of the tournament Organizing and stocking inventory, including thousands of different cards Keeping our store clean Helping create social media posts and updating online sales/inventory Packing and shipping online orders Applicants should - Be at least 16 years of age Have at least 1 year of leadership and/or customer service experience Have a passion for various trading card and tabletop games Be willing to learn additional games as well as aspects of the hobby they may not be familiar with, such as collecting versus playing Strongly support Holo Haven's stance on inclusivity and commitment to provide a safe and welcoming space for all gamers, regardless of background, culture, neurotype, ability level, and disorders Have a strong ability to communicate, and speak English fluently Have a strong attention to detail Be versed in general computer operation, specifically in email and spreadsheet usage, with a preference for applicants familiar with Google Workspace Be able to pass comprehensive background checks Be legally allowed to work in the US and not require any type of employer sponsorship now or in the future Be able to lift 50lbs independently and place a 50lb box on a shelf 6ft in the air Starting pay for this job is $15 per hour, depending on skill level, knowledge, experience, and availability.
