Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries, ensuring a positive shopping experience Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately for retail sales transactions and handle cash, credit, or mobile payments with precision Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities Restock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive and well-stocked store environment Assist with merchandising efforts by arranging displays and ensuring products are properly labeled and presented Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and maintaining professional phone etiquette Support inventory management through stocking, stock rotation, and inventory counts as needed Skills Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in bilingual environments if applicable Experience with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash handling Demonstrated supervising or leadership experience is a plus for supporting team efforts Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations preferred Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and stock management Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive problem-solving approach Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional communication in-store or over the phone This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a lively retail setting.
