Job DescriptionWe are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Counter Sales Associate to join our team in Jonesboro, AR As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, providing exceptional service to our valued customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchasesOperate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficientlyMaintain a clean and organized sales counter areaDemonstrate in-depth product knowledge to help customers make informed decisionsHandle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precisionResolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and empathetic mannerRestock merchandise and assist with inventory managementCollaborate with team members to maintain a positive shopping environmentAdhere to company policies and procedures to ensure smooth operationsAssist in warehouse operations for shipping and receiving when neededMaintain regular attendance and punctualityAnd other duties Assigned
QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent2+ years of retail or customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
HVAC knowledge preferredExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectivelyStrong math skills for accurate transaction processingProficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systemsIn-depth product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn about our product lineDemonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitudeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficientlyPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 poundsBasic computer skills and attention to detailTeam player with a collaborative mindsetProblem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectivelyInventory management skillsWillingness to become forklift certified (training provided)Regular attendance and punctuality are vital for success in this roleAdditional InformationEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability / veterans
