Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Cashier/Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive memorable shopping experiences. In this energetic role, you'll be the friendly face that greets customers, manages sales transactions with precision, and provides expert product knowledge to help customers find exactly what they need. Your multitasking skills and positive attitude will ensure smooth store operations, from ringing up purchases to assisting with product demos and stocking shelves. Responsibilities Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately for all retail sales transactions, including cash handling and balancing the cash drawer at shift end Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations through upselling techniques Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging additional sales and enhancing customer satisfaction Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining attractive visual displays aligned with merchandising standards Manage retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and inventory counts with accuracy and attention to detail Maintain phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely or in-store Support store operations by supervising team members when needed, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent service delivery Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and basic math skills for transactions and inventory management Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers and team members in bilingual settings (English plus additional language) is a plus Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and responsibly Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising principles, and customer service best practices Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads during stocking tasks, and work flexible hours as needed Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels our success!
