Landscape team member

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Team Member to join our outdoor maintenance crew. This role involves working on various landscaping projects, maintaining residential and commercial properties, and supporting the overall aesthetic and health of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, a strong work ethic, and an interest in horticulture and landscape maintenance. Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to ensure well-maintained lawns. Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, and tree care, including tree trimming and shrubbery upkeep. Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators for construction or hardscape projects. Install and maintain irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access for clients. Support hardscape projects involving stonework, walkways, patios, and other landscape features. Maintain cleanliness of work sites and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Skills Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools. Experience in lawn care, gardening, and general landscape maintenance. Knowledge of landscaping techniques including hardscape installation and horticulture principles. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely. Strong understanding of tree care practices such as trimming and planting. Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and maintenance. Skills in snow plowing during winter months for property safety. Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
