Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pawnbroker, where you will be the friendly face and trusted advisor for our customers. In this energetic role, you will evaluate and appraise items brought in for pawn or sale, provide exceptional customer service, and manage all aspects of the pawn transaction process. Your enthusiasm and sales skills will help create a welcoming environment, while your attention to detail ensures accurate record-keeping and compliance with policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced retail setting that combines financial transactions with customer engagement. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with pawn loans, sales, and merchandise inquiries. Evaluate items brought in for pawn or sale, providing fair appraisals based on market value and condition. Conduct product demonstrations and explain loan terms, store policies, and available services clearly to customers. Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cashiering, balancing registers, and processing payments. Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer experience and increase store revenue. Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store environment is clean and inviting. Use POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions, record details accurately, and generate receipts Communicate effectively via phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-ups with clients or vendors. Assist in inventory management by stocking merchandise and conducting regular stock checks. Skills Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles; Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively. Proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices. Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication with customers and vendors. Experience working in a retail environment is advantageous but not required.
