Retail Sales Associate Sedona Crystal Vortex | Full-Time | $19.00/hour | In person, Sedona AZ This is an active selling floor in the busiest retail corridor in Sedona, in a store full of minerals people travelled a long way to see. You will talk to strangers all day and you will learn to answer real questions about what they are holding. If you have sold before, you will recognise the job in the first ten minutes. What you'll do Greet and work with customers on the floor — this is a selling role, not a register role Learn the product well enough to answer honestly: what a specimen is, where it formed, how it differs from the one next to it. We train this. Guide customers to the right purchase and build the sale from there Run the Shopify POS for sales, returns and exchanges, and handle cash accurately including open and close Keep the floor stocked, merchandised and clean through the whole shift Take phone enquiries and route them properly Work toward the team's sales goals and keep the shift lead in the loop What we need from you At least one year of retail or direct customer-facing sales experience Cash handling experience and basic retail maths Weekend availability. Saturday and Sunday are our biggest days. A published pay ladder:

Salesperson $19/hour, Retail Lead $21/hour, Assistant Manager $23/hour. You can see the next two steps before you take this one. Daylight retail hours. No split shifts, no closing at one in the morning, schedule posted two weeks out. We pay your Verde Shuttle monthly pass. All three of our stores sit on the Cottonwood-to-Uptown route, which runs hourly, seven days a week. If you drive in from off the route, ask about the gas stipend. Employee discount on everything we sell, paid time off, and a referral program. Retail Lead is the next seat, at $21/hour, and Assistant Manager after that at $23. We promote from within and we can name the people we have promoted. Most of our team lives in the Verde Valley — Cottonwood, Cornville, Rimrock, Clarkdale, Camp Verde — and commutes in, the same as about seventy percent of everyone who works in Sedona.
