Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the best products for their pets, especially dogs. Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits of pet supplies, toys, and accessories. Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments efficiently. Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to enhance the shopping experience. Upsell relevant products by understanding customer needs and recommending additional items to enhance pet well-being. Provide expert guidance on product usage, including basic pet care tips and safety precautions. Ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and well-stocked while adhering to store policies on phone etiquette and customer interaction. Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in a grocery store or pet-related environment. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in managing team members or training new staff. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math ensures smooth transactions. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively. Strong communication skills help foster positive customer relationships and teamwork.
